How to Choose Compliant Industrial Signage in Lebanon

Industrial signage fails audits for the same reasons every time: nobody recorded the material, nobody kept the fabrication record, and nobody can say which standard the work was built to. You can close all three gaps before you issue the purchase order.

Ask for the material specification in writing

A quote that names a price but not a material is not a quote you can compare. Ask which alloy, which film, which core, and which coating. A vendor who fabricates in-house can answer immediately.

Put the specification on the purchase order. If the delivered work differs, you have a document to point at.

Confirm which standards apply, and how

ISO 9001 covers the quality management system behind the work. ISO 14001 covers environmental management through fabrication. OHSAS18001 covers occupational health and safety on site. REACH and RoHS govern substances in the materials themselves.

The useful question is not "are you certified?" but "which of these applies to my scope, and what will you hand me at delivery?"

Agree the documentation package before fabrication

The package should include the material specification, the fabrication record, and the certification references that apply. Agreeing it up front costs nothing; reconstructing it during an audit costs weeks.

Watch for the quiet vendor

The strongest predictor of a difficult project is a vendor who takes days to answer a question before you have paid them. Response speed during quoting is the cheapest signal you will ever get about response speed during installation.
